Tuesday's... They're great!

Here I am sat in Sainsburys having just been down the hospital for my MOT. I haven't been for 18 months but the doc seemed fairly happy.

I was reading the magazine above and it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't taken in any of it in.. You know that feeling when your mind is elsewhere but you still go through the motions as it were. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't apprehensive about Friday night. I have all the tools and skill I need but, as per usual I'm seriously lacking in self confidence.

On the positive side though, all this nervous apprehension will only make the weekend in Cardiff that much better, as I breath a sigh of relief and relax...

Bring on Saturday!!

Yeah, its 3.00 am and I'm sat in the car waiting for this lot to sort them selves out.... Come on! Its Saturday night and I haven't had a bloody drink yet!!...

Ok, I made it. It took just over an hour, and just over two miles.. The Taff trail that is.. Took some good photos today... hopefully !?
And now I'm indulging in Pret-a-manger..

Plus I've still got two more days off!!?!

Makes a change. Here I am sat in Morrisons, Cardiff (the other side of the bay). The suns out and it's a gorgeous day! Having just walked over from Mermaid Quay, do I walk back or catch the bus?

My eyes! My beautiful eyes!... again!

Here I am sat in the hospital cafe on Ophthalmology day, waiting for my pupils to close a bit. The sun is out (for a change!!) and normally I wouldn't mind but today, it's bloody painful!!?!

Phew! Made it!!

Cardiff at last..
Well I've just arrived at Cardiff and as I stepped off the train on to the platform a wave of relief washed over me. This has been THE worst July E V E R!!

I won't bore you with the details but Cardiff has, once again, saved my life. I'm now sat in Pret-A-Manger having a FREE latte (I've been stamping my card!) and a Cheese, ham & tomato croissant. And blogging on their FREE wifi..!
It doesn't get any better than this. After I'll take a wander up to the Apple store.. Maybe take some photos if the mood takes me. Catch Captain America at 12.00.. then... well... I'm just gonna wing it.

Mark Vs Food

Coffee.

Last cake before home...

Here I am sat in Cafe lounge with a nice chocolate slice (see pick). Had a good day today. Caught an early showing of Paul (well, if 11.30 is early !?). Then wandered around Cardiff trying to get some decent shots in the poor lighting..  currently listening to Radioheads 'King Of Limbs' album (out yesterday) and so far I quite like it. Anyhoo, coffees turned up so better down it and head back..

Just got out of Ophthalmology so I thought I grab a coffee while my eyes adjust to the harsh daylight.. then its back to work... oh, the joy..

Start the year as you mean to go on ?!
