Well, we made it. We're now in Cardiff getting ready for the big day, and more importantly doing as little as possible for the next 5 days....

Avatar - the movie

Well just seen my first IMAX movie at the Odeon, Cardiff Bay. Beautiful sums it up. The 3D was very complimentary to the movie and it didn't feel like 2 & 3/4 hours long to be fair.. Some good CGI that didn't look like CGI if you know what I mean.. All in all, a very enjoyable movie.

Upstairs..

Here's the upstairs from our room looking towards where Laura's room's going to be (with the central window). The initial completion date banded about by the builders was Feb 2010.. But now, thanks to the Dark Knight himself looks like March/April.. The roof raising's been postponed... yippee.. Well in May it'll be our 5th year aniversary in the caravan.. Some how I don't think we'll be opening the Champagne..

Well here we are sat in the caravan and once again it's raining.. At least they're getting on with the barn. Stairs should be in soon. I'll post a picture..

Three days and counting..

Well, Geoff's been with us 3 days and seems to have settled in ok despite the travelling.

To say I was disappointed with Matt leaving was an understatement. It turns out he's a complete b*stard. He fed me a crock a'sh*t about wanting a change of direction and more training and he's gone to Hereford Auto's ??! Hereford Auto's !!! All he was interested in was more money. What a w*nker. This is a shame because I always classed him as a friend as well as an employee. And friends wouldn't do this to you. That'll teach me to me so trusting.. Good luck getting a reference...

Here I am at 5.50am taking photo's in my dressing gown (for some reason). Well Pheobe woke me up, it looked nice out and the sun was about to rise so I figured what the heck. It turn's out the photo's weren't that good (this is the best!). Perhaps if I'd been awake ??

Well, this marks the end of an excellent 3 days in Cardiff. And now I've got an hour ride home on the train to round it off..

Here's a lovely shot of the Opera House down the bay. It's been an excellent day. We all caught the bendy bus down here. Then after some grub at Subway's we took the river taxi back into town.

I don't think I'm cut out for this any more.. customers, staff, family.. getting abuse from all angles. It's getting harder and harder keeping it together. And my 'Lottery' escape plan isn't a viable option really... Need a plan B.

Although that piece of Battenburg is rubbish. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't there be at least a hint of almond/marsipan in Battenburg cake? That yellow edge was icing! Where's trading standards when you need them, eh? That's BHS for you. Also, I'd like to point out that the coffee pictured is my first of the day. Well it's 5.00 o'clock so I better head back.. Still, it's been a good day. Oh look, the sun's coming out.. Marvelous!

Looks like if I want to take pictures of the opera house I'm going to have to pay. There's a fair going on and they've fenced off the area. Oh well, i'll head back into town on the next bus..

Well here I am down the Bay at last.. To be fair the bus wiffed quite a bit and I was glad to get off. It's packed down here. Some function going on.. So long as they don't get in my way..

Nah.. Cardiff. At first glance though.. Anyway, coming to the end of another good day at the cinema. I'm now sat outside Varsity waiting for the number 57, listening to Kasabian - Uboat and watching all the drunks staggering in and out of the pubs..oh, here's my bus.

Coffee habit... won't.. go...away...

Ok, in this picture you can clearly see my coffee. To the left of the mug is a ticket for Angels and Demons which doesn't start for 15 minutes. So I can wander the streets aimlessly... Or, grab a coffee. Why I'm justifing my coffee habit to a Blog that no one reads is beyond me, but it kills time.. Hopefully I'll be down the Bay tomorrow so I'll try and grab a better picture.. Don't bet on it mind.

Here I am on the hottest day of the year (apparently!), sat outside BHS having a coffee (no!) I've just seen Night @the museum 2 and Star Trek. Both were entertaining although Star Trek had the definate edge. You can't beat a good sci-fi.. What's more, it's only 3.30! Fantastic..

Here's me and Graham, saturday afternoon, sat in a nice little pub down Cardiff's posh end. It's a gorgeous day and it's a bank holiday too! And I've got tuesday off. Can it get any better? (That was a rhetorical question - ask Jordon!)

The return of the coffee Blog..

.. or the primo latte Blog in this case. Ok, I know I said I wasn't going to have anymore photo's of coffee but it just makes sense. I'm sat down waiting for the coffee to cool down so why not kill time with a blog entry. I'm in Cardiff on a cold bank holiday monday and I've just managed to grab another film, before it's back to reality in sunny old Hereford. To be fair it's been an excellent weekend. And seeing Wolverine (again - saddo!) has rounded it off a treat. Well, the coffee's gone, back to it..

This is part of the st davids development and it's starting to take shape. I'm heading round to the cinema to see Fast and Furious. I've just seen Wolverine and I enjoyed it. Let's hope this measures up..

Last night (Thursday 30th April) I embarked on a beginners course in photography at the Hereford Tech College, in a vain attempt to hone my skills.. Well, it'll be interesting to see if I can post some better photo's here for starters..

Easter day in Cardiff.

Here's me and Graham on one of our days out. This time we just took a trip down town. The weathers gorgeous and as it's Easter Sunday it's not too busy. Unfortunately there's not much open either, but that doesn't bother us. Well, we're gonna grab a coffee then head back.
