New bike - first trip.

Well the maiden voyage in to work didn't go as well as expected.. Seat too high, one earpiece kept falling out, dropped bike on my ankle (!?) But these were mere teething problems. I ironed them out and the return trip was a different story. A bit more fine tuning and it'll be a breeze..

I bought some new lights today, Smart 10w/2.4w Twin Headlights (see pic) and that made the trip home much more enjoyable. I'm very impressed and would recommend them to anyone riding on a country road at night. Even the five watt bulb lit up the road quite well. No cars dazzled me for one thing !!

Tomorrow I'm going to take in my sling shot camera bag and see how that works out.. So look out for more obscure photo's of nothing..

A new age is dawning...

Well here it is. The yellow bullet is no more. Despite efforts by the repair shop they were unable to save it. So now i'm on this little flash of lightening! See if I can break the 20 minute record.. Still needs a bit of fine tunning... I'll keep you posted. By the way, alien vs predator 2 wasn't as bad as i'd expected. Not a masterpiece, about 3.5 out of 5. I've seen worse.

Well they're getting on with it. This was taken from the roof of the multi story car park opposite. If you look to the left you can see the edge of the cinema, where i'm gonna see alien vs predator 2 in about half an hour. I'll let you know if it's any good.

Ok this is the scene 7.50am first day back! At first I thought there'd been a fire but on breathing in there's no mistaking the distinct smell of toxic exhaust fumes. If I'd sat in the corner quietly for 10 mins I could have probably topped me self! Anyway thats a nice start to the new year!
